Hi! I’m Senica.

I am a settler-Canadian writer and editor, hailing from the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. In 2016, I earned my BA in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Victoria and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue my Masters in Creative Writing, Prose Fiction, at the University of East Anglia as a recipient of their North American Bursary. My fiction has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Funicular Magazine, The /tƐmz/ Review, and The Quarter(ly), among other publications, and has twice been shortlisted for the Alberta Magazine Publishers Award in Fiction (2021, 2022). You can find a full list of my published works here. As an editor, I specialize in fiction, creative and critical nonfiction, and children’s literature. To learn about my services, click here.
